About Wound Therapies
Wound Therapies is a Nurse Practitioner led service specialising in chronic and complex wound management based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We provide Nurse Practitioner services from Gympie to the Gold Coast.
Wound Therapies works collaboratively with several Aged Care Providers, Private Hospitals and Community Nursing Services and has run specialist wound clinics for a GP Practices and Skin Care providers.
Louise Webber has over 25 years’ experience in wound management. She has worked across several public hospitals and Community Nurse Settings both in Australia and overseas.
Louise was previously an Honorary Clinical Fellow for Australian Catholic University and continues to participate in research project with a leading Queensland University. She is passionate about wounds and striving for best practice and has participated in several international working groups for Pressure Injuries and Leg ulcers.
Louise frequently presents at workshops, conferences & seminars and enjoys providing education and support to all levels of clinicians. She is an expert presenter with the Nursing CPD institute and works in collaboration with the Nurses for Nurses Network and Education at Sea running wound education events.
Louise is also a foundation member of Global Nurses and Midwifery Rotary Club.
